The CombiCarrier II ®’s innovative design delivers two products in one to emergency medical and rescue personnel, saving valuable storage space, weight and critical budget dollars. The CombiCarrierII acts as a scoop-type stretcher that minimises patient movement without the need for logrolling, and also serves as an improved extrication board during vehicle extrication. The concave surface of the patient limits the victim’s lateral motion to provide more secure stabilisation. Also, the split-litter design allows quick removal once the patient is on the ambulance cot or transported to the emergency department if the latest protocols are required.
